Tomatoes are just amazing!!!…I love tomatoes! They are so good for our cardiovascular health! They are such good goodness!!…Tomatoes are first on my list whenever I go to the grocery store, they are a remarkable fruit!
Once the tomato is cut in half, we can clearly see that it is the shape of a heart. This fruit has a good amount of fiber, vitamin C, potassium that supports our heart to be even more healthy, stronger! Tomatoes also aid in improving our skin’s overall texture, we can all see how the skin of the tomato itself is so shiny, bright, smooth, clear. Of course our skin’s texture will improve and stay healthy when we consume fresh tomatoes.
There are so many types of tomatoes! It is incredible…….
Globe Tomatoes ( I bet these tomatoes are available Worldwide 🙂 )
These are your standard variant of tomatoes and are often referred to as Beefsteak tomatoes or Slicing tomatoes. We can identify them easily because they are large, round, and red.
This variety is gaining in popularity with gourmet chefs. This is because Heirloom tomatoes come in a large variety of shapes and colors. The uncool thing about them is that they usually remain ripe for a very short period of time, very uncool.
Their are also known as plum tomatoes, they are the least juicy of all tomatoes. Because they are thick and contain fewer seeds than other tomato variants, Roma tomatoes are a favorite for pasta sauces. Yum!
These tomatoes belong to the Cluster variant. Cherry tomatoes tend to be just about the same size as a cherry, but they are much sweeter and juicier than the larger varieties.
Another member of the Cluster tomato variant, Pear tomatoes get their name from their shape, which resembles a pear.
A Salad to Awaken The Senses:
Add sliced tomatoes to a salad with kale, a dash of vinegar, olive oil, raw garlic, pepper, salt, and some dill. Great salad for the morning, afternoon, dinner, especially during the Spring/Summer months, tomatoes somehow taste better, in a way, during these particular two seasons…hmmmmmm.
How do you incorporate tomatoes in your meals?
